WHERE ARE YOU FROM, HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR LIFE GROWING UP?:
– I am orginally from Middletown, NJ but moved to Old bridge township back in my sophomore year of high school. I would describe my life growing up to be a little rocky. I lived with both my parents up until there separation. I then moved out with just my mother due to the arguments and toxicity.I was separated from my little brother for 3 years, he stayed with my father. it was pretty rough but I gained a relationship I’ve never had between my mother and I.. we’ve became best friends on top of a motherly daughter relationship. I was always closed off from my parents and sibling. I transferred high schools and was always bullied & harassed. no body liked the “new girl”. Due to the move, I was diagnosed with manic depression and anxiety. I made relations with kids but they were always temporary. Overall, my teen days were challenging but now speaking as a young grown adult, I’m grateful for the change, I wouldn’t be the strong independent woman I am today if it wasn’t for the complications.
HOW DID YOU FIND YOUR WAY IN FRONT OF A CAMERA?
– People would mistake the amount of confidence I had in my self as cockiness. Now, hear me out. I grew out of the imperfections and self consciousness back when I was a young teen when I believed everything everyone said about me. I started real life modeling when I came out of high school. i loved the feeling of expressing my feelings and emotions through out a photo. Ive been told by many people because of my bubbly personality and hyper active self that I was so animated. My friends at the time always mentioned to me that I should try out modeling because I loved taking pictures of myself, I would constantly be blogging and editing I felt that Ive always been blessed behind the camera. I had a close male friend with a camera who lived in my neighborhood that was in college for photography. He would always ask me if he could practice taking photos of me to recreate images he had seen online or in Magazines. so of course I was open to get creative and pose to capture some sick shots! BOOM, photoshoot after photoshoot I self taught myself how to pose, and at that point it was just so much fun for me. modeling being a passion and an outlet.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST ABOUT BEING A MODEL:
– What I like best about being a model is expressing my emotions and telling a story throughout a lens. I love the behind the scenes, getting creative and having fun! not only that but the photographers and the people you meet is always a blessing! Ive came encounters and made some strong connections with people I just met then I have with people I’ve known for years! The collaborations with other models, I enjoy as well. As much as this industry could get challenging I don’t mind it because I’m always up for a challenge.
ANY UNUSUAL TALENTS?:
– I wouldn’t say they are unusual but they are for sure hidden. I love love love to sing. I am just super shy. when I was a younger kid I sang at the pnb arts center, the stone pony is asbury park, saint marys fair, all the town fairs. music is a secondary passion as well as modeling. I also love to dance freely.
WHAT OR WHO INSPIRES YOU?
– No question or hesitation about it, my mother. she is my beautiful angelic angel. my mother is my best friend and the most hard working/ independent woman I’ve EVER came across. she is superwomen and I mean that. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for her. My mother is my biggest support system. she gets me up on my feet and always says the right things to help motivate me. My father makes me stronger and stronger each and every day. He teaches me to never give up!
MOST CHALLENGING THING ABOUT MODELING?
– in my opinion, what I would consider the most challenging thing in modeling would probably be angles and matching your body in a specific certain way to the camera. I always get stuck within my posing and just trying to proportionate myself correctly, if that makes any sense lol. Some advice I would give new models would be to genuinely and truly just be yourself. No matter how many people/models/photographers you meet, never put off a fake persona and forget who YOU are. Also, just to relax and have fun!
WHATS YOUR FAVORITE WAY TO RELAX:
– my favorite way to relax would be to grab some Starbucks, get warm under my covers and watch some netflix(: What I do for fun is making videos (tiktok videos) shop, hangout with my mom, and playing 2k.
