‘Model For a Day’Event Gets Models Published

In the fall of 2020, Deanna Brown of Deanna Brown Art & Photography, hosted an event where ladies could be a “model for a day”. This photography event took place over a two week period, and featured 10 models. Deanna is a multi-published photographer, and a skilled and experienced hairstylist and makeup artist. Deanna’s photography work has been published several times in a wide range of publications.

The models who participated emerged from all walks of life, ranging in age from 17 – 58. Deanna truly believes that everyone deserves to feel beautiful, and have the chance to feel like a model for a day! She wanted to give everyone the same opportunities as she has had, and a chance to be published in a magazine.

The event was open to anyone; models, aspiring models or anyone who wanted the chance to feel like a model for a day. The ultimate goal was to get every single person who participated published in a magazine.

Months of planning finally led to an amazing experience for each model, where each one was pampered with makeup, hairstyling, wardrobe options and a fully guided photo session.

The greatest thing was watching all the ladies embrace their femininity, and over the course of each and every session we observed them becoming more confident, empowered and absolutely unleashing their inner goddesses. Truly magnificent to watch.
