Where are you from, and how would you describe your life growing up?

I am proudly from Saskatchewan! Growing up was quite as there wasn’t much to do other than get into trouble on the back roads. I often kept to myself in a small close group of friends. I was never afraid of a challenge and never let anything get in my way of living my best life.

How did you find your way in front of a camera, modeling?

I always wondered what it would be like to model. A good friend of mine convinced me that I deserved a chance to express myself and feel good. I took a chance at a photoshoot and the rest is history.

What do you like best about being a model? 

Feeling good in my own skin and sending a message to empower other women. I am who I am and I have the confidence to express myself and be myself.

I’ll bet you’ve got a lot more going on, girl, than just a pretty face.  Besides modeling what is the most important thing in your life?  Do you have any unusual talents?

Honestly, I could write a book about everything going on in my life. I live my life day by day just trying to be a better person then I was yesterday. The most important thing in my life is my family, without them I would not be as fortunate as I am. Unusual talents are yet to be discovered.

We all need support in life.  Where do you get your support?  What or who inspires you?

Of course, my family is my main support. Also, I am my own support in most cases. I am strong and rely on me to pick myself up, brush off the dust and carry on. I am simply inspired by life, constantly reaching for goals and looking for new goals to create. I have come to be inspired by myself because for how many times I’ve been kicked down, I should not be flying so high.

What do you think is the most challenging thing about modeling and what advice would you give to new models?

I would say the most challenging thing about modeling is not to be so hard on yourself. You are awesome, brave, and beautiful just the way you are. Don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise!

What is your favorite way to relax?  What do you do for fun?

It may sound cliche but I love to go for walks. The more time I can spend outdoors the happier I am. I am a naturalist at heart so anything outdoors is my favourite way to relax.

You look amazing.  What do you recommend for those wanting to keep in shape?

Remember that you are human. It is okay to have the cookie once in a while. For me I stay in shape by doing activities outdoors like walking or playing a game. If you want to keep in shape just find an activity you love to do and make it a habit. But most importantly, be gentle on yourself and know that you deserve it.

What would you consider your strongest attribute?  What do people compliment you most on?

I am loyal. If I say I have your back, then rest knowing I’ve got you and won’t let go. I am complimented most on how much I care for others. I have a big heart and love deeply.

What do you think is the best thing about a man?

Ambition and drive to be an equal partner. A woman does not need help in life as she is capable on her own, she needs a partner.

Please share something about yourself that may surprise others.  What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done?

The most adventurous thing I have done was leave everything I knew behind, pack up, and move to the other side of the country in order to heal and rediscover myself. I lived in my vehicle for two months while driving the back roads of the mountains with my partner and our dog living a very simple life. It was the greatest experience of my life that has taught me the most valuable life lessons.

What are your dreams and goals and ambitions?

To continuously be a better person than I was yesterday. I want to strive to be the best person I can be, full of love, compassion, hard work, and dedication.

If you were in a magical machine that could transport you to any place and time imaginable, where would you love to be?  Why?

Nowhere other than where I am. Life is too short to have your head in the clouds. This is my time and I will make the best of it.

What’s one thing about yourself that everyone should know?

I am proud of who I am. I haven’t always taken the easiest road in life but I wouldn’t change a thing about it.

Do you go to college? What do you study?

I am a full-time university student. I am studying various social sciences.

“She believed she could, so she did”

What does being published in this Modelz View magazine mean to you?

It means dreams can be realized and come true. You just need to believe in yourself and work hard and you can accomplish anything.
