Lydia Jane Exclusive Interview

Where are you from, and how would you describe your life growing up?

Born and bred in Berkshire, England; I had a lovely, privileged childhood with my two brothers and fantastic parents.

How did you find your way in front of a camera, modeling?

While at university I was on the cheerleading team. The cheerleading team was invited to ring girl at the local boxing club. From there I was offered ring girl jobs all over the country, almost every weekend! I was lucky enough to work on huge, televised shows such as Cage Warriors, UCMMA and Super Fight Series. At one boxing show the event photographer asked me if he could take some photos of me, I though “why not!”. My modelling career started from there! I went on to shoot for various bridal, fashion and glamour publications. Including page 3.

What do you like best about being a model? 

Working with interesting, creative, talented people. Getting dolled up and feeling like a confident alter ego. Getting away from the stress of daily life; with modelling you have to focus on being right there in the moment.

Besides modeling what is the most important thing in your life?  Do you have any unusual talents?

I own events companies which I am incredibly passionate about.

I’m good at doing accents haha

We all need support in life.  Where do you get your support?  What or who inspires you?

Elon Musk Inspires me, his ridiculous work ethic and childlike enthusiasm for his vision is unrivalled. Money is simply a bi product to his pioneering ingenuity and futuristic vision for mankind.

My husband (and teenage sweetheart) is my main support. He is very calm and rational.

What do you think is the most challenging thing about modeling and what advice would you give to new models?

I would say 1) building a strong personal brand is key. Social media will be your best agent.  And 2) Turn up on time, smile, and network with everyone on set;You never know where your next job will come from.

What is your favorite way to relax?  What do you do for fun?

I love walking my rescue dogs in the countryside. Or raving to drum and bass at a festival.

You look amazing.  What do you recommend for those wanting to keep in shape?

Getting a personal trainer! it keeps your accountable and makes you push yourself far more than you could alone.

What would you consider your sexiest, strongest attribute?  What do guys compliment you most on?

Guys compliment my bum the most haha.

But Modelling agencies compliment my cheek bones.

Anything about your heritage, ethnicity, or nationality that you feel people would like to know?

Please share something about yourself that may surprise others.  What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done?

I am a trained nurse.

Hmm most adventurous thing …*desperately tries to think of something appropriate for public consumption *

I volunteered in Madagascar for 6 weeks, working on a health care project with other student nurses and doctors

What are your dreams and goals and ambitions?

To build my events company into a national brand.

To be financially independent.

To have children.

If you were in a magical machine that could transport you to any place and time imaginable, where would you love to be?  Why?

I would love to go back in time to a world of natural wonder and biodiversity. To a time when there were multiple species of homo not just homo sapiens, before we exterminated them all.

Are you a naughty girl, or a nice girl 😉 ?

I am a VERY nice posh girl…😉

Please share a guilty pleasure with us.  Your naughtiest fantasy?

I don’t believe in living life between societally prescribed boundaries, so I tend to go ahead and make my naughtiest fantasies come true…

Also I’m polyamorous.

What’s one thing about yourself that everyone should know?

Looking like a bleach blonde, page 3 model is a choice and has no correlation with intelligence or capability. Underestimate me, I dare you 😉

Do you have any favorite quotes that you would like to share?

Fortune favors the brave.

You can never be overdressed or overeducated.
